Installing Kitchens for You
“The Heart of all Property's”
Kitchens are the Heart of all property’s. Out of all the rooms in your home the one room people normally start and end their day is there Kitchens, and would be quite confident in saying there would not be a single day in your life you did not have to enter Kitchens, hence the opinion many individuals say this one room is the heart of your home.
Kitchens are deemed as a communal space; consider the amount of time you spend in this one room; how many times have you had your friends around for dinner or a light snack for lunch and can almost guarantee people will hang around the Kitchen while food is being prepared or maybe just making a quick cuppa, so you can dunk your biscuit.
There are a wide range of reasons you will be visiting this one room and many hours will run into years so why not make the best of any space you have available. Sprucing up tired kitchens is not so complicated and you will be surprised how you can transform the look when little inexpensive changes are made over time.
Handles for Kitchens can change the appearance very quickly or maybe a New Sink and throw in a 3 Way Kitchen Mixer Tap which incorporates a Fresh Water Filter System saving you the trouble of traipsing down to the shops to replenish your larder.
Re-tiling the splash backs in Kitchens will dramatically enhance the look very quickly, So, a few basic changes will completely enhance drab looking Kitchens and it will not cost the earth, I have created a Gallery on the HouseForce Pinterest Profile showing some great ideas which include space saving and organisational tips that hopefully may give you some inspiration.
“Kitchens you Cannot Swing a Cat in”
Heard that a few times over the years of refurbishing properties both here and many more back in the UK and you would be extremely surprised with the space that is not being used to its full potential but with a bit of thought and planning you claim back wasted space.
What about removing the plinths and having sliding boxes on runners for all the canned items or cleaning materials, the area under the sink! Add a shelf or two or maybe some baskets. There are a many DIYer’s and Professionals that have documented their small space saving projects on the web so why not go have a browse while having a well-earned drink.
"We Do Not Manufacture Kitchens"
Here at HouseForce we provide you the client with Professional Tradesmen to install your new kitchen project supplying all the knowledge and know how along with the correct tools to complete any challenge that will crop up.
Unless you contract a carpenter to build you a Bespoke Kitchen which will not be cheap, other options left are to purchase from a high street show room or maybe a larger outlet like Keaki, Aki, Leroy Merlin or maybe Brico Depot to name a few.
You have an array of suppliers to choose from but still can feel a little daunting and time-consuming traveling around to the outlets browsing through the choices, now you find yourself sitting in front of a designer in a lovely show room all being paid for from the sale of a Kitchen to you.
There are some differences between various carcasses, Pre-built are usually more expensive they require less work to install, Self-Assembly (flat pack) are usually cheaper but require effort to assemble and the quality of the finished unit can be disappointing if the individuals throw them together in frustration. General rule of thumb all carcasses are made from laminated chipboard panels cut into pieces to make you cabinet, some manufacturer’s use higher density boards and some use water proofed boards both of which will reflect in the cost.

"Kitchens made Difficult"
Kitchen projects can take their toll on any property owner and one of the main ingredients to consider! “Who are the Installers” and are they equipped and experienced enough to overcome challenges that will crop up.
"What can go wrong"
Many stories of chaos and destruction caused by installers that have no idea of the original kitchen layout or your requirements requested in the show room, as the only person you spoke too is a sales agent and generally the installation is subcontracted to a fitting service, So, “Who is going to fit your lovely new kitchen”? did you see any examples, can you converse with them freely and will they be helpful.
Will the fitters have a plan B or C if units do not fit in the given location or find out the electrics supplying your kitchen is connected to the lighting circuit which is extremely common here on the Costa Blanca, if that happens they may have to bring in another team to sort out the issues and I have not mentioned the plumbing yet!
Another few days drift by with no significant progress being made so now you have to construct a make shift kitchen in the lounge to make the tea while you consider what you have done to deserve the aggravation and chaos that has entered your life.
Obviously, the installers are not the only element to consider when replacing kitchens which is why a single call all message to HouseForce will elevate the agony of all these decisions as it is our goal to make this process painless so allowing you to sleep at night knowing you have professionals standing beside you.
Painless Kitchens
HouseForce is armed with the knowledge and experience to overcome any and all challenges with high street kitchen suppliers which mean you get the best advice as we do not manufacture kitchens so it is refreshing to have an unbiased opinion which is not pushing you to buy kitchens from us so we can accumulate the commission from the sale which in effect is what show rooms do unless they are the manufacturing company which normally pays sales staff commissions so they are always going to steer you towards particular models that are high in cost.
When we meet you, we will discuss your fitting requirements – we help you with all the design aspects including taking accurate measurements and we have just the right skills and tools to match each part of the kitchen fitting process which normally would include electrics, plumbing, lighting, tiling and construction side if required to install the new kitchen professionally.
" Consider IKEA Kitchens"
In my opinion, I wouldn’t personally choose anything else to cook my dinner in and hover around having a cuppa while nattering to friends about the meaning of life and soaking up the admiring glances. Unless of coarse I had such deep pockets I wouldn’t give two hoots about the cost as there would be CHANEL imprinted in the doors.
I installed ours 12 Years ago here in Spain and prior to that our property back in dear old Blighty was sold with a 11-year-old IKEA Kitchen which was in extremely good shape considering we had twins bouncing around in their younger years, so you can imagine the hammering the doors, handles and hinges took.
My Like of IKEA Kitchens is based on my own personally experience and from many happy clients back in the UK within the wonderful M25 and I can assure you I do not miss the dreaded A13 which I spent many an hour on twiddling my thumbs while listening to Capital Radio.
IKEA has an awful lot to offer the consumer in the way of choices in the design and build method not to mention how versatile the units are including the ingenious little extra options which can always be added at a later date when you have finances permit.
